Officer - Consumer SAM (Emiratization)

Job Purpose

To manage assigned portfolio in order to reduce bad debts, improve recovery rates while minimizing cost of collections.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the overseas agency assigned portfolio to ensure that the monthly/yearly team target for recoveries

from the assigned portfolio is achieved.

Ensure maintain proper documentation of collection related activities and updates on the system.  

Conduct monthly external agencies audit – planned as well as surprise.

Identification of Skip status to monitor skip portfolio performance.

Ensure representation of necessary instruments such and DDAs, SIOs and Cheques etc. in order to recover

overdue for the assigned portfolio.

Ensure legal recourse and follow up on the assigned portfolio where applicable.

Negotiate/finalize restructuring/settlement agreements for assigned portfolio with a view to minimize bank

losses.

Review, monitor and analyze weekly / monthly reports received from agencies in order to be shared with Line

Manager.

Assist in auditing the activities of collections agencies that are related to DIB and report suspicious activities

to the management.

Review the payments received from agencies and ensure it is posted to the respective accounts.

Ensure reviewing of invoices received from agencies and manage payments of commissions as per the

signed contract

Ensure that payments collected from customers by agencies are deposited in the Bank Account 

Follow up with all concerned departments to ensure timely resolution of overseas payments.

Ensure strict compliance with DIB policies and procedures and CB UAE regulations.

Education

University Degree or equivalent

Work Experience

2-3 years’ experience in a financial environment preferably in a similar industry.
