Manager - Technology Strategic Sourcing, Procurement

Job Purpose

To manage the technology strategic sourcing function by optimizing high value and complex purchases and covering the end-to-end sourcing life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the sourcing strategy for large scale or complex technology sourcing purchases through category management methodology.

Develop, implement and maintain a structural engagement model with technology business units’ stakeholders to centralize the technology strategic sourcing function.

Support and engage with a team of subject matters experts (SMEs) for technology purchasing categories.

The Manager – Strategic Sourcing will take direct responsibility for large scale or complex sourcing initiatives through Category / Commodity plans whilst ensuring the risk associated with the purchase of Goods & services are mitigated commercially, contractually and operationally.

Oversee, support and control the execution of the strategic sourcing activities for technology categories including but not limited to business requirements, spend analysis, supply market analysis, agree on sourcing strategies, preferred vendors and tendering tools (RFP/RFQ/RFI) and contract handover to business unit and support contract implementation.

Drive assigned IT projects end to end independently as individual contributor.

Contribute to enhancing the overall procurement function to ensure obtaining the best value of money through effective strategic sourcing

Ensure compliance with the approved policies, procedures, SLAs and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and ensure risk mitigation.

Education

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Technology or equivalent field

Work Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement category management buying related to technology products and services including but not limited to Digital products/solutions, Enterprise level platforms/software and cloud/infrastructure solutions.
